The Saturday and Sunday celebrations continue in Historic Hill Street. The program caters to both traditional and contemporary performance. A successful Festival is a combination of a few ingredients, a good program of music & dance, location, atmosphere and of course good company. We aim to be one of the best small regional folk festivals in Australia. The 30 years of continuous presentation leading up to the 2005 Festival have brought about many developments, contributed to in varying degrees by a cavalcade of dedicated people. Although differing in many ways these people have been united by the twin wishes to celebrate the Celtic Heritage of Kapunda and, to provide for both residents and visitors a weekend of participation in an exciting and enjoyable series of events and activities.
